New podcast episode with Giulio Ranucci, Head of Innovation at Aeroporti di Roma

We are living through a golden age of innovation in the aviation industry and airports want to be also active players in this arena.

One of the airport operators that has taken technological innovation most seriously is Aeroporti di Roma (AdR), which manages the two airports serving the Italian capital. And at the helm of AdR’s innovation arm is Giulio Ranucci, our guest on this episode of the podcast.

Giulio oversees a number of innovation and startup acceleration programmes that have made of AdR a reference in the airport innovation space. Aeroporti di Roma has even launched its own venture capital arm to invest directly in some of the most promising startups passing through its acceleration programme.

Giulio has also been instrumental in putting together a network of like-minded international airports, from Vancouver to Dubai, that are joining forces to act as catalysts for innovations that can help improve both the passenger experience and the airports’ operational performance.

Tune in for an interesting conversation about airports and the role they can play in fostering innovation!
